Men remanded over pirated DVDs Updated

first_imgTwo men, 59 and 39, were remanded in custody for four days in Limassol on Wednesday in connection with the possession of 7,500 bootleg DVDs.The two men were arrested on Tuesday after the authorities found the DVDs in a dwelling in the town.Limassol CID chief Ioannis Soteriades said the number of seized discs was very high for Cypriot standards.Police also seized equipment used for the reproduction of DVDs.The 59-year-old arrested was the owner of the place where the DVDs were found, police said.
